Overview

The Coast Night Snake occurs from northern California to the tip of the Baja California peninsula. Within the Atlas region, this species occurs in the coastal regions of southern California and northern Baja California. It occurs throughout the peninsula and is found Islas Cedros, Coronados (Norte, Medio, Sur), and San Martín in the Pacific Ocean. In the Gulf of California, it is found on Islas Ángel de La Guarda, Carmen, Cerralvo, Coronados, Danzante, Mejía, Monserrate, Partida Sur, Salsipuedes, San Francisco, San José, San Lorenzo Sur, San Marcos, Smith, and Tortuga.
