Overview

The Common Side-blotched Lizard is a wide-ranging species found throughout western North America from Washington to central Mexico. Within the Atlas region, this species is ubiquitous throughout southern California and all of the Baja California peninsula. It is found on numerous islands in both the Pacific Ocean and Gulf of California.
