Mexican Mud Turtle

The Mexican Mud Turtle is native to mainland Mexico from Sonora, southeast Chihuahua, and Durango, south to Oaxaca. This species has been introduced into the eastern drainages of the Sierra La Laguna in the vicinity of Santiago, Municipality of Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.
