Western Banded Gecko

The Western Banded Gecko is found widely across the southwest United States and northeast Mexico. Within the Atlas region, this species is broadly distributed throughout the area of coverage. With the exception of the higher elevations, the Western Banded Gecko occurs in both coastal and desert habitats. It is found on Islas Cedros and Santa Margarita in the Pacific Ocean and Islas Ángel de La Guarda, Coronados, Danzante, Espíritu Santo, Partida Sur, San José, San Marcos, and Santa Inés in the Gulf of California.
