Overview

The Peninsular Leaf-toed Gecko is found from Palm Springs, Riverside County to the Isthmus of La Paz, Baja California Sur. In the central portion of the Baja California peninsula, this species can be found from the Pacific coast to the Gulf of California. It is absent from the Vizcaíno peninsula. The Peninsular Leaf-toed Gecko is found on numerous islands in the Gulf of California and Islas Magdalena and Santa Margarita in the Pacific Ocean. More research is needed to determine the affinities of insular populations off the southern coast of Baja California Sur.
