Western Patch-nosed Snake

The Western Patch-nosed Snake occurs across much of western North America from western Texas to California and from northwestern Nevada to southern Sinaloa. Within the Atlas region, this species is found through both southern California and the Baja California peninsula. It is also found on Islas San Gerónimo and Todos Santos Sur in the Pacific Ocean and Islas Espíritu Santo and San José in the Gulf of California.
