California Red-legged Frog

The California Red-legged Frog occurs from the Sierra Nevada and central California south to the Sierra San Pedro Mártir, Baja California. This species has suffered severe population declines in Orange, Riverside, and San Diego counties in the United States and northern Baja California in Mexico. Within the Atlas region, it persists in three watersheds within the Sierra San Pedro Mártir.
