The Isla Salsipuedes Whiptail is an insular endemic found only on Islas Salsipuedes, San Lorenzo Norte, and San Lorenzo Sur located in the Municipality of Ensenada in the Gulf of California. Little is known about the distribution of this species on each of these islands.
