Overview

The Sonoran Desert Toad is distributed across the Sonoran Desert from southern Arizona to the extreme western portion of New Mexico and from Sonora southward to northern Sinaloa, Mexico. Within the Atlas region it is believed extirpated, having once occurred in the Imperial Valley and Colorado River in both California and Baja California.
