Southern Alligator Lizard

The Southern California Alligator Lizard is found from southern Washington southward to El Rosario in northern Baja California. Within the Atlas region, this species is primarily found from the coast to high mountains with some populations extending down desert canyons. It is also found on Isla San Martin in the Pacific Ocean.
