Gophersnake

The Gophersnake is found across much of western North America from the Mississippi River to the Pacific coast of Oregon and California. Within the Atlas region, this species is found throughout southern California and its distribution extends as far as 26 miles (42 km) south of El Rosario, Baja California. It is also found on Islas Coronados Sur and San Martín in the Pacific Ocean.
