The Sierra los Cucapás Collared Lizard is a narrow endemic and found only within the Sierra Cucapá and Sierra El Mayor of the Municipality of Mexicali, Baja California. These contiguous mountains lie immediately south of Mexicali and are isolated from the larger Sierra Juárez.
