Slevin's Banded Rock Lizard

The Slevin's Banded Rock Lizard is an insular endemic found only on Isla Ángel de La Guarda and the adjacent Isla Mejía located in the Municipality of Ensenada in the Gulf of California. Little is known about the distribution of this species on these islands. It is unknown if the species is ubiquitous throughout Isla Ángel de La Guarda, which is a large island (47 miles or 75 km long) with little exploration.
